THE
PROJECT
 The History Channel has partnered with the State of Virginia, Jamestown 2007, and the Virginia Cable and Telecommunications Association (VCTA) in a national educational event entitled Save Our History®: Live From Jamestown™. Created for fourth and fifth graders, and linked to national and Virginia Standards of Learning, Live from Jamestown will introduce school children to the excitement of archaeology and the history of the early settlement of Virginia. It will feature the discoveries of the Association for the Preservation of Virginia Antiquities Jamestown Rediscovery Project and information from the Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation.

Teachers may submit their questions regarding the Jamestown webcast by e-mailing them to savehistory@aetn.com. All questions should include the teacher's name, and the school's name and location.
