An American treasure, the CORONET is the last of the great Victorian schooner yachts. Built in 1885 for industrialist Rufus T. Bush, the CORONET made history by winning transatlantic races at the turn of the century. Its owner in the 1890s, Arthur Curtiss James sailed the CORONET twice around Cape Horn, making it the first U.S. yacht to make this journey.
