Engineering Student Winners

As a follow up to the City of the Future design competition, IBM and History challenged engineering students from universities across the country to peer into the future and propose innovative engineering solutions to sustain the three regional winners' visions.

Students were given five weeks to prepare their projects before presenting to distinguished juries, made up of IBM executives and members of the American Society of Civil Engineers. Each student team proved to be creative, clever, and highly motivated.

The winners of each city competition received $5,000 and the title of IBM Engineers of the Future. Congratulations to the following teams:
