History™ developed the Citizenship Quiz to challenge all Americans to learn more about our nation's history and government. One exciting way to explore our nation's past is to look at the original sources that make up the fiber of U.S. history and civics. As part of this project, the staff at the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) combed through their collection to find documents that provide insights into the USCIS citizenship test questions. Each of the documents in this image gallery corresponds with a particular question on this test, revealing the sources that inspired and explain our nation's past and the structure of our government. These photographs, amendments, letters, and objects provide a fascinating window into learning more about U.S. history, and can help all Americans on the quest to pass the Citizenship Quiz.
