Library of Congress - American Folklife Center
The American Folklife Center focuses on the critical issues of digital preservation, Web access, and archival management. The American Folklife Center includes the Archive of Folk Culture, which was established in the Library of Congress in 1928, and is now one of the largest collections of ethnographic material from the United States and around the world.
National Alliance of Preservation Commissions
The NAPC is the only organization devoted solely to representing the nation's preservation design review commissions. NAPC provides technical support and manages an information network to help local commissions accomplish their preservation objectives. The Alliance also serves as an advocate at federal, state and local levels of government to promote policies and programs that support preservation commission efforts.
