Meet Daniel H. Wilson
Daniel H. Wilson is a roboticist, an author, and a contributing editor to Popular Mechanics magazine. Born in Oklahoma, he earned a Ph.D. in Robotics from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, where he also received Master's degrees in Robotics and Machine Learning. Wilson is the author of How to Survive a Robot Uprising: Tips on Defending Yourself Against the Coming Rebellion (Bloomsbury USA, 2006), voted best book of 2006 by Wired Magazine and optioned by Paramount Pictures, as well as Where's My Jetpack?: A Guide to the Amazing Science Fiction Future That Never Arrived (Bloomsbury USA, 2007) and How to Build a Robot Army: Tips on Defending Planet Earth Against Alien Invaders, Ninjas, and Zombies (Bloomsbury USA, 2008).
