Our discussion boards are governed by the following set of community standards. Listed below are some, though not all, violations that may result in the termination or suspension of your user account and/or access to this website and/or our discussion boards. Please familiarize yourself with them. By posting on our discussion boards, you indicate that you accept our Community Standards and the Terms of Service.

To report any violations of the Community Standards, please use the 'advise' button located to the right of each post on the boards. Our moderation team will review all reports and take appropriate action for each.

We at A&E Television Networks want our online community to be friendly, informative, and enjoyable for all of our members. We reserve the right, but shall not be obligated to remove any material that does not comply with the standards below or our Terms of Service without prior warning or further explanation. We also reserve the right to revoke posting privileges at our discretion and without warning.

A&E Television Networks and its family of brands is family-oriented, and we expect posts to be appropriate for users of all ages. We want our members to use the boards for discussion of our programming, as well as more general topics concerning history, biography, and current events. If everyone adheres to these standards, our message boards will continue to be a fun and informative online community!

A&E Television Networks Community Standards

1. Impersonate any person including, without limitation, an A&E Television Networks official or representative, message board moderator, guide or host.

2. Be respectful of others' opinions. A difference of opinion can be expressed without resorting to insults and bullying.

3. Any posts, user names, or subject lines containing profanity, sexually graphic, or offensive language will be deleted. This includes any uses of characters such as \@#$% to replace letters.

4. We don't allow any content on our message boards that we, in our sole discretion, determine to be false, inaccurate, misleading, disruptive, unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, pornographic, vulgar, racist, or otherwise objectionable.

5. Threats, harassment, verbal assaults, and online stalking will not be tolerated. Posts that might be construed as such may be deleted and made available to the proper authorities.

6. Don't intentionally or unintentionally violate any applicable local, state, national or international law. Suggesting or encouraging any illegal activity is cause for immediate deletion and suspension of posting privileges.

7. We take intellectual infringement very seriously. Don't submit material that is subject to intellectual property protection, including without limitation, copyright, trademark, or patent rights, or otherwise subject to third party proprietary rights, including, without limitation, privacy and publicity rights, unless you are the owner of such rights or have permission from the owner of such rights to post said material and to grant us all of the license rights granted herein.

8. Don't spam or post chain letters, pyramid schemes, junk mail, or any unsolicited or unauthorized promotional material.

9. Don't distribute viruses or any other technologies that may harm this website, our message boards, A&E Television Networks, or the interests or property of our users and partners.

10. Don't use any robot, spider, scraper or other automated means to access this website or our message boards for any purpose without our express written permission.

11. Our boards are meant for discussions, not for commercial solicitation, instant messaging, or advertising purposes, and posts of that nature may be deleted.

12. Always remember that any personal information you reveal can be obtained and used by others. Anything you say here, you say at your own risk. Do not provide anyone with any information that you don't want made public.

13. When participating in an online conversation, never assume that people are who they say they are, know what they say they know, or are affiliated with whom they say they are affiliated.

14. If we judge a submission inappropriate, we reserve the right to delete that post and all replies to it. Re-posts of previously deleted contributions will be treated in the same way. Judgments concerning posts are made at our discretion, and our decisions are considered final.
