Conventional wisdom and navy records indicated a "torpedo"--an underwater mine--caused the explosion. Analysis of video taken of an alleged UFO over Illinois suggests the object could have been as large as 1500 feet across. Six "doughnut-shaped aircraft" were spotted off the coast of Maury Island, WA one week before the reported UFO crash in Roswell, NM.
