America's Secret Slang on H2

Zach Selwyn is an actor/host/musician/writer originally from Tucson, Arizona. In addition to the hit H2 series America’s Secret Slang, he has appeared on dozens of programs in the past deacde – including Guinness World Records Gone Wild! For TruTV, Immortalized on AMC as well as recent pilots for NBC and CMT. Zach has also hosted and acted in a variety of previous film and TV projects, including Discovery Science Channel’s hit shows Catch It Keep It and Punkin Chunkin, the sports show Fanarchy on Versus and the Budweiser Clydesdale “Fetch” Super Bowl commercial. He was on G4’s Attack of the Show from 2006-2009 and hosted CQC, Around the Horn, Awkward Family Photos and the original American Ninja Warrior. He can be seen as an actor on Kickin’ It and in the feature film Battleship.

Zach has also recorded and performed extensive comedic music for Comedy Central. His hit videos, “White People Problems,” “Chick Drinks” and “Hello, Beautiful Homeless Girl” have been featured on the network. He also has performed original songs for “Stand Up 2 Cancer,” Levi’s, LYFE Kitchen, National Carrot Day, Netgear, Coors Beer, and Friskies.

Zach initially came to national prominence on the hit ESPN television show Dream Job which searched over 20,000 contestants for the next SportsCenter anchor. Selwyn was tapped by ESPN to host their popular roundtable sports show Around the Horn during the summer of 2004, and host a new pilot, Holla Back in 2005. He did another special on All-Star Jimmy Rollins for ESPN in 2011.

From 2004-2006, Zach was the color commentator on GSN’s Extreme Dodgeball. The tongue-in-cheek show was entirely improvised. Zach has also appeared in such films/shows as Dead and Breakfast, Stargate Atlantis, That 70’s Show and many more. His band, Zachariah and the Lobos Riders, blends elements of country, rock and hip-hop. The band has recorded with guests like Fergie from Black Eyed Peas, and they have released five records. Zach’s original compositions were prominently featured in the award winning comedy/horror film Dead and Breakfast.
