Dennis Anderson

Four-time Monster Jam world champion Dennis Anderson is the creator and driver of Grave Digger, one of America’s most famous monster trucks. At 51, he has won more than 3,000 races and 500 trophies during his three-decade career. Anderson grew up in Norfolk, Virginia, and started racing modified garden tractors at age 15 before venturing into the off-road motorsport known as mud bogging. By his early 20s he was racing 1,500-horsepower monster trucks. He has appeared on a number of television shows and continues to expand the Grave Digger brand through his Muddy Motor Sports Park and restaurant outside Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina. A supporter of charitable causes, he raises awareness and funds for the American Cancer Society and earlier this year received the Chris Grecius Award from the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Anderson is an avid fisherman and spends time boating and mud bogging with his family. He is married to Carisa Anderson and is the father of four children, two of whom have joined him in the monster truck racing arena.
