Meet the Archaeologists
Alice Robinson
Fellow
Alice Robinson is a curator and archaeological researcher with a master's degree in archaeology and anthropology from Oxford University. She has worked as a curator for the British Museum's Department of Asia, where she was responsible for 30,000 ancient objects, and at the U.K.'s premier archaeological sites, including Stonehenge and Silbury Hill. She has also advised film crews on capturing archaeological expeditions.
Robinson has undertaken a substantial amount of archaeological and anthropological fieldwork both in the U.K. and in countries such as Romania, Nepal, Belize and Sri Lanka. An experienced scuba diver, she has a passion for the underwater environment and marine life, and plans to conduct underwater archaeological research in the future. Throughout her career, Robinson's goal has been to preserve our past for future generations.
