Alexander has participated in many academic competitions, including the history fair, geography bee and Battle of the Books. He says that "history can help you be better prepared" and that he has been interested in the subject ever since he first started reading. Alexander’s favorite time period is the Napoleonic era. He enjoys playing sports and video games, as well as competing in gymnastics.
