With an interest in the World War I era, James is new to academic competitions but has been a fan of history for years. He would like to step back in time to talk to Winston Churchill or interview Lewis and Clark to learn what it was like to discover the lands west of the Mississippi River. He likes learning "how people lived their lives in the past," and also enjoys playing soccer and other sports.
