Hugh “The Polar Bear” Rowland returns to take on Manitoba’s winter roads. This season, he’s hoping to get a huge pay off after making a deal with Mark for a stake in Polar’s operation, but failure could mean Hugh’s financial ruin. With the already warm temperatures making a short season likely, Hugh will have to haul more loads in less time just to break even. Hugh can drive all night, work all day and still have time to spout lots of opinions about those who fall short of his work ethic.
