Rocket Man
Full Name: Yves Rossey
Hometown: Geneva, Switzerland
Yves Rossey claims to have realized everybody's dream of flying. He first piloted aircraft when he joined the Swiss army at 18, and quickly progressed to piloting supersonic jet fighters. He now flies airliners but devotes his spare time to chasing his dream of powered flight--without the use of a plane.
Using a wing strapped to his body, Yves steers using microscopic adjustments of his body. The thing that sets him apart is that he doesn't just glide: his body is the fuselage, allowing him to fly upwards and in formation with other aircraft. Even the tiniest error would result in disaster.
Stan Lee sends Daniel Browning Smith to Switzerland to investigate how Yves accomplishes this feat and whether he's the first person in the world to do so.
