Daniel searches out "The Spring," an unlikely internet star from Wisconsin, to see if his talents are for real. Could he be the greatest jumper on the planet? An American born fighter claims he can break baseball bats in half with a single kick, earning him the nickname "Shins of Steel." Daniel takes him to a specialist ballistics and biomechanics lab to investigate his claims further. Then, Daniel is in South Africa, to meet Ito Kenichi who claims to have a unique ability to sprint on all fours, using an incredible technique that defies the norms of human biology. Ito currently holds the world record for fastest 100m sprint on all fours. Using motion capture footage to analyze his technique, Ito astounds Daniel by achieving a top speed of 15mph. But can he beat a man running upright? Next, Daniel flies to Capetown to meet Mike Rutzen who enjoys free diving with sharks.

In a temple in Kuala Lumpur, Shaolin monk Hu Qiong demonstrates his unbreakable body by smashing steel on his head, and spears in his throat. Bio-mechanic professor Dan Voss measures the forces at play to prove this is real. Dan watches Hu, as he attempts to push an electric drill into his own temple for a whole minute. Then, Daniel arrives in San Diego to witness Chad hold back a 500 bhp car. He calls in a sports physiologist to examine Chad's technique, and to work out the real forces at play. Next, Daniel brings Dickson from Ghana to South Africa to find out if the rumours of his superhuman control over his stomach are actually true. And finally, Daniel meets Byron at an archery range where super-slo-mo images capture his accuracy in detail. Then eye-tracking technology is brought in to see if his eyes ctually track the targets, or is it just luck?

In Texas, Daniel pits himself against Ron White, U.S. Memory Champion--whose brain operates like a supercomputer. Finally, meet Floridian Greg Poe, who claims to be able to withstand forces of up to 12G's (fighter pilots are trained to withstand up to 9G's).

Tim has made himself a human guinea pig, allowing some of the world's deadliest snakes to bite him and recording the results, to hopefully reduce the 20,000 deaths that are caused by snakebite annually throughout the world. Next, it's off to Birmingham, Alabama to meet Dan Meyers--the best sword swallower in the world. In London, it's an encounter of the elastic kind with Garry Stretch Turner, who claims to have the World's stretchiest skin. Finally, meet the "Rocket man," who can hit speeds of over 100 mph on his single wing flights, navigating with his eyes and steering with the movement of his body.

To find out, Daniel asks him to attempt to cut a speeding rubber bullet in mid air. In Sacramento, Daniel meets Dr. Norman Gary, who can control an entire swarm of hundreds of thousands of bees. Steve Santini of Cornwell, Canada performs incredible escapes requiring dexterity and body control in the face of death. For most humans, the danger would leave us paralyzed with fear, so what sets Steve apart? Finally, meet human crash test dummy Rusty Haight, Rusty has suffered over a 1,000 car crashes. Statistically, Rusty should be in a wheelchair. Is he invincible, or the luckiest man alive.

Host Daniel Browning Smith heads to the Caribbean to meet Patrick Musimu, who's able to dive to 656 feet on a single breath. Inspired by Stan Lee's own Aqua Man, Patrick believes there is no limit to how far he can push his ability to withstand the enormous pressures associated with such depths. Next, it's off to Brighton, England, where Miroslaw Magola claims to harnesses the power of psychokinesis, and can lift objects off the floor, transport them through the air and force them to stick to his body--all using the power of his mind. Still in the UK, Daniel heads to Devon, where it's rumored that Shaun Ellis has become wolf, by living, sleeping, bathing and feeding with a deadly pack of wolves. Finally, in Norway, Daniel meets Eskil, who can perform incredible feats of balance in the face of danger.

Does his ability offer the world an insight into the power of the human brain? Jyothi Rai is known as India's Spiderman--scaling walls at an unbelievable speed. Able to run up a six-story structure in just seconds, Jyothi has perfected his climbing technique by taking inspiration from monkeys. Last year in Milan, nine trucks weighing a total of over 30,000 lbs ran over Tom Owen in quick succession. How can his body survive such force? Daniel tests Tom's abs to find out if he has the hardest muscles on earth.

Timo Kaukonen is a World Sauna Champion and pushes his body to the limits. He has lasted for 16 minutes in temperatures hot enough to boil water. Daniel investigates to find out if he has a genetic difference that sets him apart. Warrior monk Shi Yan Ming shocked the world by moving to New York in 1992, marking the first time that a Shaolin monk has ever defected from China. By harnessing the power of Qi, or vital energy, he's taken Bruce Lee's infamous "one-inch punch" to a new level. Can anyone really be immune to electrocution? Daniel next meets Scott Flansburg, dubbed the "Human Calculator." Scott can complex arithmetic (even square and cube roots) all in his head, faster than anyone on earth. Does his brain work in an entirely new way? Totally blind from birth, Juan Ruiz apparently visualizes the world using the same form of sonar used by bats and dolphins called echolocation. Juan demonstrates his incredible ability to Daniel by navigating around a complex course using only the echoes of his tongue clicks to guide him. Dennis Rogers is only 5ft 6", but is pound for pound the strongest man in the world. He demonstrates his sheer strength bending hammers and horseshoes at will.
