2m | 2013 | TV-PG

The M27 nebula can viewed the best at the beginning of Fall, in the September night sky. The warm September night skies provide some of the best views for stargazers during this time of the year. The M27 nebula, also called a Dumbbell nebula, was named after Charles Messier in 1764. It is notable for its' curious shape and can be found with little difficulty in the Vulpecula constellation in the Summer Triangle. This video also features views of the W shaped star clusters in the Cassiopeia constellation. Find a good location to view and enjoy the M27 nebula. This video is brought to you by History.com.
