Siggy is the shrewd widow of Earl Haraldson. After her husband was defeated and killed by Ragnar, Siggy is hired by Lagertha and serves his family. Siggy has lost her husband, all of her children and her authority in Kattegat, but has not lost her desire for power.

Jessalyn Gilsig has had lead roles in the hit series Glee, Nip/Tuck and Boston Public, and stand-out recurring roles on Friday Night Lights, Heroes, Prison Break, Snoops, The Practice and NYPD Blue. Guest starring roles include The Good Wife, Law & Order and the Emmy-nominated web series Imaginary Bitches. She most recently starred in the independent film Somewhere Slow, on which she served double duty as producer. She appeared in the recent remakes of Prom Night and The Stepfather and starred in the action/thriller XIII alongside Val Kilmer and Stephen Dorff. Gilsig has also worked with Robert Redford on The Horse Whisperer and Sally Field in A Cooler Climate. Other credits include Chicks with Sticks, See This Movie and Flood.

A Montreal native, Gilsig studied at Harvard University’s American Repertory Theatre. She currently resides in Los Angeles.
