Ellen Wilson
Ellen Wilson (1860-1914) was an American first lady (1913-14) and the first wife of Woodrow Wilson, the 28th president of the United States. Although far less well-known than her husband's second wife, Edith Galt Wilson, Ellen is perhaps best remembered for her efforts to improve housing conditions for African Americans in Washington, D.C.
