Yellowstone National Park

Yellowstone National Park, established by the U.S. Congress in 1872, was  the first national park in the United States. The majority of the park's 3,468 square miles remain undeveloped, and visitors can explore more than 1,000 miles of trails. The park was designated a World Heritage site in 1978.
