Bjorn Played by Alexander Ludwig

Bjorn Lothbrok is the son of Ragnar and Lagertha and the oldest of Ragnar’s many sons. Intelligent and determined, Bjorn loves and admires his father above all men. Following in Ragnar’s footsteps, Bjorn desires to test himself as a fighter as well as an explorer. After fighting in battle without receiving one wound or scratch, he garnered the famous nickname “Bjorn Ironsides.”


Alexander Ludwig

Best known for his role as Cato in The Hunger Games opposite Jennifer Lawrence and Liam Hemsworth, Alexander Ludwig is currently filming Go with Me with Anthony Hopkins and Julia Stiles. He recently starred in the 2014 film The Game Stands Tall and appeared in 2013’s Lone Survivor alongside Mark Wahlberg and Grown Ups 2 alongside an all-star comedic cast including Adam Sandler, Kevin James and Chris Rock. He also starred in Disney’s Race to Witch Mountain opposite Dwayne Johnson and Carla Gugino, and will be seen in the upcoming psychological thriller Final Girl. A Vancouver native, Ludwig began his career at age nine with a string of commercial and television parts, after which he landed the starring role of Will Stanton in the 2002 action adventure The Seeker: The Dark Is Rising.  The actor is also a gifted musician and athlete whose passions include competitive extreme freestyle skiing, cliff jumping, gorge diving, bungee jumping, surfing, wakeboarding, kite boarding, tennis, basketball and hockey.
