LaTasha “LA” Thym owns and operates Restoration Hero, an heirloom furniture restoration shop in Atlanta, GA. LA specializes in antique and vintage furniture but is also trained in electronic repair and grew up restoring her family’s TV, VCRs, and radios. Her passion is restoring furniture that matters to people. She’s bold with her talent and not afraid to break a piece down to its parts before bringing it back. Beyond wood refinishing, she can do complicated process work, such as caning. LA believes that every piece of furniture has its own story and it’s her job to help that story live on.
