The HISTORY Channel’s hit nonfiction survival series “Alone” is going Aussie! “Alone Australia,” the highly-rated international version which originally aired on SBS, follows ten skilled outdoor survivalists on a mission to endure brutal conditions and be the last one standing. After being dropped off in the vast and isolated Tasmanian wilderness, each participant must self-document living completely alone with limited supplies and no human contact. Additional challenges include building their own shelter, adapting to extreme weather, finding food sources, and grappling with unfamiliar terrain and dangerous wildlife. The final participant standing wins $250,000.
