One very important event of American history would be the Boston Massacre which occurred on this day. British troops killed five Americans including an African American by the name of Crispus Attucks. The popular toy the hula-hoop was patented by Arthur Melin on this day, and Soviet dictator Joseph Stalin passed away. Peace talks between North and South Korea occurred for the first time in twenty five years.
