Albert Einstein Calls for an End to Atomic Proliferation (0:29)

Though an outspoken pacifist since World War I, Albert Einstein had urged the United States to build nuclear weapons in the face of rising Nazism and the atrocities of World War II. However, after the bombs were dropped on Japan, Einstein once again took up his cause. In a speech, he warns the world of the dangers they now faced following the invention of the atomic bomb.
