Blue Angels in Flight

(1m 51s) tv-pg l

In a Mail Call video, R. Lee Ermey answers a question from Steve of Minnesota, who wants to know about the Blue Angels. With their unbelievable precision and heart-stopping aerial maneuvers, the Blue Angels have been performing since 1946. The F-18 Hornet is the teams aircraft of choice; with a design that lets a pilot keep his eyes on the skies, this plane can fly nearly twice the speed of sound. One of the most coveted jobs in the Navy, the Blue Angels normally have a two-year rotation. Ermey pulls some strings and gets us some behind the scenes footage of the team!
