This Day In History: 01/07/1789 - 1st US Presidential Election

The first presidential election of George Washington, Galileo's interest and discoveries in astronomy and the Fidel Castro's Cuban Revolution are all on This Day in History video. The date was January 7th. Galileo was later tried in the Roman Inquisition. General Batista was replaced by President Manuel Urrutia Lleo during Castro's revolution. George Washington was elected by the first electoral college.
